Central Division police are investigating yet another homicide in the Enterprise area.
The victim has been identified as Marvin Allan, 35.
At about 7:00 am Sunday, Allan was said to have been standing outside his vehicle when he was approached by a gunman.
Several loud explosions were heard and Allan was seen slumped on the ground outside of his vehicle.
The assailant fled the scene on foot.
Police believe that Allan's killing is linked to the recent spike in shooting activities in Enterprise.
Sources said that Allan was not known to officers as being involved in serious crimes, but had been held for marijuana possession in the past.

In a separate incident, police are also investigating the death of 31-year-old Christopher Wells who was shot and killed in Pleasantville on Saturday night.
