Killed for a gold chain and cellphone
Sun 8 February 2015 - 27-year-old Tobago resident Darryl Bynoe was shot in the head at his sister's home on Ramkissoon Trace, Old St Joseph Road in San Juan Sunday morning while lying in bed. His gold chain and cell phone were stolen in the incident.
Bynoe had been arrested three times for robbery in the past and was recently acquitted of the latest charge. Relatives counseled the young man to change his ways and the victim took their advice .
On Friday he left Tobago and came to Trinidad to stay with his sister. On Saturday he was baptized in a Pentecostal religious service. On Sunday he was shot during a home-invasion robbery
