Burnt remains fround in La Brea
Thu 12 February 2015 - The automobile of used-car salesman, Ricardo Toolsie, was found abandoned on the roadside of an oil field road off the Southern Main Road, Chinese Village, La Brea Thursday evening. Around 7:00 PM, police were called and arrived to investigate. Near the vehicle they found the burnt remains of the car's owner lying in the bushes.
Toolsie, originally of Vistabella Road, San Fernando, had recently moved to Couva to live with his girlfriend. She reported him missing to the police on Wednesday and had not seen, nor heard from him, since Tuesday.
The remains were taken to the San Fernando Mortuary for DNA testing and an autopsy is to be performed upon positive identification being made.
