Murder #32: Female, 26 years old, shot to death.
Young woman's body found in DM
Mon 2 February 2015 - 26-year-old Sahiri Logan of Mason Street, Diego Martin was found murdered Monday morning around 7:15 AM. She was shot once in the back of the head, execution-style.
After receiving an anonymous tip earlier that morning, police found her body lying along Broome Street, near La Puerta, in Diego Martin. Police surmise that the victim was killed elsewhere and her body was dumped on Broome Street.
Her brother, Quasy Logan, said he last saw his sister alive on Sunday afternoon and that she tried to call him around 3:00 AM Monday morning, but he missed the call, not hearing the ringtone while he slept. The victim's family is baffled as to why somebody would kill her.
An autopsy is to be performed Tuesday at the Forensic Science Centre in St James. |
