IN the recent past, Chaguanas resident Patrice Thomas Fletcher received a death threat from a male relative, stating that she would be murdered on her birthday.But even though this threat was made against her life, some of Fletcher's friends and relatives believed she did not take it as seriously as she ought to have, given that she still maintained a close relationship with the man who swore to murder her.
Yesterday morning, Fletcher was found with her throat slit in the living room of her Phyllis Lane, Enterprise, Chaguanas, home. But yesterday was not her birthday, it was on Saturday.
Just hours before she was found murdered, Fletcher was out with friends celebrating her 26th birthday.
